Area of operation

England and Wales

In England and Wales we freely operate on the mainland subject to the conditions set by SSSI designation and Codes of Conduct (see below). All inland operations in the UK follow the Code, Regulations and Standards of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists. 

In working quarries we are subject to the Quarries Regulations 1999 and follow strict operation guidelines with respect to the rules set by the quarry operators. For more information please contact us directly at info@neojurassica.org. 

Landowner consent is required. Permission is required from the relevant local authority for operations on public land.

Scotland

In Scotland operations are subject to the Scottish Fossil Code. In all other aspects, operations are treated the same as for England and Wales. 

Northern Ireland

We categorise Northern Ireland as overseas. Please see below for more details.

Western Europe

Neo Jurassica is available to hire for excavation activity in France, Germany, Belgium, Ireland and the Netherlands. Operation requirements vary by location and transport costs are expected to be covered by the client, please contact us directly for more information at info@neojurassica.org. 

North America

Neo Jurassica is available to hire for excavation activity in Canada and the United States. Excavation in Canada and federal land in the US is subject to relevant permits and documented permissions. All work is subject to landowner consent. 

Rest of the World

Unfortunately Neo Jurassica does not currently operate in Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, Australia, New Zealand or the Antarctic Region.
