The Neo Jurassica Collections Grant Scheme (NJ-CGS)

What is the NJ-CGS?

Our scheme supports the preparation, conservation and /or digitisation of scientifically or historically important objects in palaeontological collections. We currently support one project a year with £1000 worth of our services available.

Who can Apply?

- UK Registered Charities -

- Organisations with Exempt Charitable Status -

- Accredited Museums -

- Recognised Universities -

How to Apply

 Provide a proposal explaining:

  1. Why you need this grant, in terms of your current financial circumstances (100 words).
  2. What are you going to use this funding for? (100 words).
  3. Explain how this funding will help you to strengthen your institution's research and/or conservation goals (300 words). 

Proposals are to be sent to info@neojurassica.org before the deadline of 1st March 23:59 GMT each year.

2023 - Natural History Museum, London

Grant approved for £1000 worth of fossil preparation services.

2022 - Yorkshire Natural History Museum, Sheffield

Grant approved for £1000 worth of preparation and digitisation services.
