Our handheld scanners use VX Elements for scan acquisition and VX Model for scan reconstruction.
Our scannerss are also compatible with Geomagic® Solutions, InnovMetric Software (PolyWorks), Verisurf and more.
Accurate to 0.025mm (0.0009in), based on VDI/VDE 2634 part 3 standard.
Volumetric accruracy within 0.020mm + 0.040mm/m (0.0008in + 0.0005in/ft).
Typical output from the scanners are .stl or .obj image files, but the following file types are also available open request: .dae, .fbx, .ma, .ply, .txt, .wrl, .x3d, .x3dz, .zpr, and .3mf.

The light source for the HandySCAN Black ELITE is 11 blue laser crosses (+1 extra line) which emit electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength between 360 and 480 nanometers.
The scanners are Laser Class 2M which is eye-safe and requires no visual protection, suitable for anyone.
